Twenty-two years after the incidents of Isla Nublar (Jurassic Park), Zach Mitchell (Nick Robinson) and Gray Mitchell (Ty Simpkins) tour while visiting their aunt, Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard). Claire is the operations manager of the garden World, a Jurassic Park dinosaurs fully functional which is located on Isla Nublar, an island off the coast of Costa Rica. Up on the island, they find out that Claire is too busy to spend time with them so they have to be guarded by his personal assistant, Zara (Katie McGrath). Simon Masrani (Irrfan Khan), owner of the garden at once head Masrani Corporation (which bought InGen, Jurassic Park managing company on previous films), come and call Claire to see a new genetically engineered dinosaurs they, Indominus rex. After the inspection enclosure, Simon said he wanted to call Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), a former soldier, Navy expert and a Velociraptor, four coaches to make sure the enclosure Indominus rex stout and adequate.
Owen was summoned by Vic Hoskins (Vincent D'Onofrio), the head of security of the InGen, which proposes to use raptor Owen as a weapon of war, and Owen did not approve it. However, the incident occurred when one of the staff of the cages dropped into the raptor. Owen rescues her, holding the raptor, and escape, prove that the raptor is not benign. All members of the team were killed by Indominus rex in disguise. Claire decided to close the northern part of the Park, but Zach and Gray out of line with the gyrosphere into the forest and was attacked by Indominus rex. They managed to exit the gyrosphere, jumping into a waterfall, down the forest, and find old Jurassic Park. There, they repair the jeepney from Jurassic Park and is successful, then they go back to the garden. Meanwhile, Owen and Claire checked the gyrosphere, herbivorous dinosaurs that died tercakar, Jurassic Park and the old one (knowing that Zach and Gray qualify), but they are attacked by Indominus rex and escaped. Then, using the helicopter flying with Simon to chase and shoot living creatures, resulting in living creatures broke through the entrance of dinosaur bird cage and communicate. Pteranodon and Dimorphodon out attack helicopters so that crashed, killing Simon, and freeing other animals in a cage.
Zach and Gray until the herd in the Park and a flying Pteranodon attack tourists. Zara finds them but quickly kidnapped by Pteranodon and crashed into the lagoon Mosasaurus. When some of them kidnapped and raised it again, Mosasaurus directly consuming them both. Owen, Claire, and park security team arrived and anesthetized flock fly it, and then reunited with Zach and Gray. VIC took over the Jurassic World and decided to use the raptor Owen to find and kill the Indominus rex, although Owen did not approve. VIC and the team evacuate InGen Jurassic Park team of scientists under the leadership of Dr. Henry Wu (b. d. Wong) with dinosaur embryos via helicopter. When it enters the center of innovation, Owen, Claire, Zach, and Gray find Vic packing in the laboratory and revealed that they plan to change the Indominus rex and made many new types of dinosaurs to be used as a weapon of war, but he was killed by a raptor. Owen, Claire, Zach, and Gray escaped and cornered by three other raptor, and Owen managed to rebuild his relationship with them. When Indominus rex arrived, Owen and the raptor attack, and killing two raptor. Realizing they don't have the power to defeat him, Claire asks Lowery Cruthers (Jake Johnson) to open the enclosure Tyrannosaurus, fishing opportunities with flares, and fight with Indominus rex. When the Tyrannosaurus was defeated and surrendered, a raptor appears and attacks the remaining creatures. Both were against the Indominus rex and defeat him, and then he was dragged by the Mosasaurus to laguna, and eaten. Tyrannosaurus and raptor go, then Owen, Claire, Zach, Gray, along with the other travelers were evacuated to Costa Rica. Zach Gray and reunited with their parents (Judy Greer and Andy Buckley), while Owen and Claire go with, become a partner. On Isla Nublar, Tyrannosaurus ascended to the building that was destroyed and roaring.
